Once a month, those living in and around White River, along with those visiting, can indulge all of their shopping desires by spending the morning at Casterbridge.

The Casterbridge Shopping Centre is a stone’s throw away from Greenway Woods and our comfortable White River accommodation. Guests at our lodge can easily spend their Saturday morning picking up locally made foods and crafts before heading back to Greenway for an afternoon of relaxation, a round of golf and a dip in the pool.

The Famers Market is a great excuse to get outdoors, explore the local produce and gimmicks and enjoy some downtime on the weekend. The market takes place on the first Saturday of every month and each month new stall owners bring their products to sell. While you will occasionally come across the same things, there are those stalls that really stand out.

The entire concept of the market is to create a complete community experience and over the years, the market has certainly achieved this and so much more. Not only is the market well supported by the locals, but it also enjoys plenty of support for those staying at various White River accommodation. Visiting tourists can leave the Lowveld having bought a souvenir while in the Kruger National Park, while also filling up on gifts for their family from the market place.
