A business traveller is not like your ordinary traveller which means they don’t have your average traveller needs.

When coming to White River on business, you need to make sure that the accommodation you have booked is more than capable of exceeding your expectations.

At Greenway Woods Resort, we mostly accommodate those who are travelling to the Kruger and surrounds for a holiday. While our White River accommodation is aimed at holiday makers, we are also the ideal place to stay if you are looking for a lodge while you are in the area on business. Our accommodation is located just outside of the town, but not so far out that you will be too far away from wherever you need to be on business.

Business travellers usually have their preferred accommodation facilities, but if you are new to choosing the right kind of accommodation, you can use these helpful pointers to guide you in the right direction.

Accommodation in Whiteriver

What you should look for in your work accommodation

  1. Space

Seeing that your room is likely to also double as your office space, you will want to make sure that you have more than enough space to do whatever work needs doing. Ideally, because your room will double as an office space, you should also opt for the kind of accommodation that has a table of some kind. It doesn’t have to be a desk per se, but it should be a comfortable table where you can set up your laptop or work documents.

  1. Location

White River is luckily not too far away from the business hub of Nelspruit, which is likely to be where you have business concerns. Wherever you are staying, make sure that you choose the type of accommodation that is in a good location and allows you to easily get to where you need to be, even if the area is unfamiliar to you. A good location will ensure that you can get to where you need to be on time.

  1. Some meals included

Bed and Breakfasts are popular options because they ensure that you at least have a good meal before you rush out for your busy work day. But bed and breakfasts are not the only places a business traveller can stay at when looking for good accommodation. Lodges, like Greenway, are ideal because they are able to provide dinner as well, which is helpful if you have had a busy day.

  1. Laundry Services

Having a laundry service or at the very least a nearby Laundromat, can be immensely helpful. When travelling on business, you don’t necessarily always have enough space to bring along a weeks’ worth of clean clothing. This is why having a laundry service on site or nearby is a must when travelling for business.

  1. Affordability

Finally, the place that you choose to stay in should fit your budget. There are plenty of really affordable places designed with the business traveller in mind and it can help to shop around a bit before making your booking, to ensure that you find the right place to stay.
